Sweat oozed down my forehead as I reached the last stair on my Trek to the third floor at Washington Elementary. My heart beat faster than a humingbird's wings and my face was more red than the inside of a watermellon. Needless to say, I was out of shape after my summer away from school. Nervousness filled me, because today I was going to meet my fourth grade teacher, Ms. Forbes.

   I pushed open the heavy metal door separating the stairwell from the hallway. I was moving forward towards the classroom that would be my new home for the year, when all of a sudden I began to fly in the air. Someone from Mr. Grant's class had left their backpack in the hall and I didn't see it until it was too late. I landed with a big thud on the cold tile floor staring at a pair of not so fourth grader sized feet. Thankfully my stomach cushioned the fall. Thank goodness for Krispy Kreme. Slowly my head rose to see who's feet I had landed upon. Oh, NO! I thought. These were none other than Ms. Forbes' feet. She looked down at me and said, "Are you my student?"I said yes and when I walked in I was so scared that I would not have a great year and I will not learn nothing. So I looked around for my desk and then I saw it. I sat beside Grace and Abby. Grace said "Hi my name is Grace. What's your name?"  So I said "I'm Anna. Do you like Ms.Forbes," Anna asked.  "Yes" said Abby.  So I looked at the bord and it said HOME-WORK I looked under the word and it read make the new fourth grade $10.00 bill.  I was so happy and I thought I will have a great year at Washington, Elementary.I looked around the classroom and then I saw a fish tank with no fish. I walked to it and looked in it. It was a snake. I asked Ms.Forbes if I could touch it and she said "Ok, do you like snakes?"  So I said "I love them, I have one at home."   "Cool," said Ms Forbes, and handed me Rocky. When I took Rocky in my hands it felt smooth and rocky. Usaully a lot of people are scared to even wave hi to a snake,but I guess I'm special in my own way./Richa.Now That I found out that Ms.Forbes was so nice I felt a LOT more comftuble in her room. But just as we where reading Leon and the spitting Image Ms.Forbes asked "Who here knows what the teacher in the book was going to say?". " Oh OH OH pick me ,Pick me I know !!!" I yelled out loud!!! O well Ms.Forbes will let it go. So I thoght.Just then she said "flip you card right away" super loud will she be like this the hole year? / Melissa. On the second day of school I saw Nicolas Ortega in the hall.Then I remembered when he kicked me in second grade."Hi Sam", he said."Hi",I squeaked. I was afraid he'd punch out my teeth. That afternoon I was happy to see my friend, Liam Outlaw. I can not wait intill the coastl feild trip. We get to go to the sand doons .On the bus Anna,Sydeny and me are going to sit together.My sister went on it she said it was fun.(abby) none of my old friend were in my class so at first I was a little worried, but then at reeses Richa came up to me in a joyful voice she as offered me a hand(because I had fallin down)"hi my name is Richa want to go on the monkey bars with me?!! She seemed realy niceso i said happuly "yeagh that would be cool!"/melissa

(Alia)A weak after school I rushed down the hall from breakfest this was the thrird time I have been late for class. When I got to class Ms.forbes said "what did I tell you about getting hear faster" she said. So I just walked over to my desk and sat down I got out  Wayside School is Falling down. The next day at school I was  happer because I ate breakfast at home so I didn't have to late for class. At lunch I ate with Richa because her mom came. I had a pbj a water and chips.  After lunch I went to my electives.  They are Racket Sports, Inventions AG, and Advertising AG.  I had a lot of fun.  Now it was time to go to social studies with Mr. Grant.  Today we made salt dough maps of North Carolina's 3 regions.  Then it was time to leave school.  Today I was riding penguin bus.  I talked with my frieds Arpit Patel and Samantha Redwine.   When I got home I told mom how much fun I had at school.At the dodgeball court,me and Liam were the last ones left on our team.Nicolas was on the other side.He threw a ball at me.I dodged it and WHAM! Liam was out.Nicolas threw many more balls,and I dodged them all.In the audience I heard Liam yelling "Go Sam!" I threw with great acceracy and sreangth a speeding ball that knocked Nicolas off his feet.I had won!!!The next day it was a bad day.Because Nicolace threatend to beat me up.My other friends told me not to be a snitch but my heart was saying go tell. I did not know what to do.So I started to walk toward him and said," I'm sorry I hit you with the dodge ball yesterday.Please don't beat me up!" After I said that he just ignored me and walked away.I didn't know what was wrong,but I was happy he didn't beat me up.The next day I forget my homework,so I had to MOPE at recess.After I moped I played with Sammy,Richa,Abby,Grace and everyone that brough their webkinz. I broght my Black lab named Diamond,and my Chocolate lab named browney.  The next day Armaan told me got a new webkinz.  It was raccoon named trash bag.

 

Nicolas/ When sam beat me at dogeball i was infuiryated!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wacked sam in the mouth. "AAAAAAAAAAAAA"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he yelled. Oh D'arvit!!!  I thout.Sam went to go tell. wehad to go to the pricipals office. 

The next at the playground Grace,Me,Sammy,Marleane, Richa and other people played little Sally Walker, It was so fun. At lunch I had a peanutbutter, jelly sandwitch some chips and at the end of the day my mom brough ...DONUTS! I was so happy I got to get more at home,I had a great day.The next day was the best day of my life it was Friday and I bought some pencils from octoan. After haveing such a  fun day I went to my friends house Tehya and Rachel. But they told me some realy horrible news. They were moveing and I'm not just talking some were else in N C I mean to Michigen. That night I could not fall asleep with the thought some of my friend were moveing I had to do something.I could not sleep on Saturday or Sunday either.On Monday the bord said MATH TEST I was so upset about my friends moveing I forgot to study! Sents I was so tired and did not study it was almost garinteed that I would fale.Well I thought "well today was going to be a terible day". But then I remberd the FISH FOLOSIFY so I chose my aditod and started to play. /Melissa.  For the rest of recess I  played tag with Armaan, Arpit, Parv, Teja, Aditia and Darshan.  Next I went to the cafeteria to eat lunch.  I had spaghetti,  a juice box, and an apple.  The next day I forgot my book, The Hobbit at my house.In football everybody thought i couldn't cath Nathan wanted the ball switched so Ausvin threw the football to Darren but I inter cepted the pass then people realized i could catch the rest of recess went great when we had to go in we were losing in football 23 to 14 so i decided to choose my attude I thought that we might catch up in football tommorow.

 The next day was a horrible day.Yesterday night I was too happy I couldn't fall asleep.This morning I almost missed the bus.Also,that same day I had to go to breakfast so I was late for class.When it was time for recess I went to go play soccer-and my team lost.So recess was over and my class went in the cafeteria to eat.I was buying bmrwoqyfpfhbnslorhsir.Miharjtdthd. Then the next day at recess my friend Abby got me a knew webkinz. The seal!!!! So i decided to name it Abby since Abby(THE PERSON) gave it to me. At lunch i forget my lunchbox at home so I didn't have a lunch. Melissa was so nice and gave me a bag of chips Sydney gave me a juice box and Sammy gave me a sandwich because for some reson she had 2. So I had a pretty good lunch.

 

 After lunch came electives. I quickly raced to the trailers, so that I wouldn't cause the band to start late. I bounded up the ramp to Trailer one and burst through the door. What I saw when I entered the outdoor classroom was not what I expected. Where usually music stands and students playing instruments were found, an amazing sight stood before me.

 It looked as though every thing was candy! My mouth droped to the ground. When I opened my flute case there were three hollow cany canes! It was a Miricale! Just as I was about to  take a bite out of my cotten candy chair, when, I heard "Wake up wake up". "what" I said as I opened my eyes. "you fell asleep after eating lunch, we are about to go" said Grace. then I ran to my elective ( I was Late) and what stood infront of me was amazing, and this was not a dream! I saw everybody staring at me. I was like a movie star people said"Can I have your autograph?" Shure i said people wanted me to take a picture with them. Mrs.Z told me I was a 1st Flute!!! But I have not played anything for you i said. No no no you are the most famous flute player in the intire world.Soo i have you 8 body gards. Wow i said in my mind i'm in begnning band and i have never played anything other than a guitar, and i was most famous 1st flute in the world!!! And I have BODY GUARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ALL TO MY SEALF!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing a clarnet named Nisha said can you sign my reed?
